Maybe it's because of the Outback, but we don't really think of Australia as being a "camping" nation. So it's somewhat surprising that Australians have produced this genius little camper: the Gidget Retro Teardrop Camper. 

Looks simple enough, just a small, shiny camper.

Inside, it's fitted with cabinetry, a pull-out table, outlets, a CO detector, and an entertainment center on a swivel.

The rear pops open to access the kitchen, complete with sink, cooktop, cooler, and the other side of the swiveling entertainment center.

The glass-covered sink draws pressurized water from a storage tank of up to 120 liters.
